Solar Panel Bird Proofing in Your Area
Properly engineered barrier that protects your panels, your roof and your investment for the long term.
The difference is in the mesh. We use heavy-gauge galvanised steel supplied in rigid sheets, not flimsy rolls — the kind of mesh that needs industrial cutters to shape and holds its form once fitted. That matters, because when our technicians trim it around the perimeter of your panels, the cut prongs stay rigid and bite cleanly into the contours of your roof.
The result is a precision fit that follows the rise and fall of your tiles, leaves no gaps for pigeons to exploit, and looks neat from the ground. It's the same three-step method we've refined over hundreds of installations — and the reason our proofing outlasts the cheaper roll-mesh jobs you'll find elsewhere.
- 10-year guarantee on every solar panel proofing installation
- Sheet mesh, not roll mesh — thicker gauge, rigid prongs, professional finish
- Bespoke fit shaped to your exact panel layout and roof profile
- Transparent pricing based on panel count, location and access — no surprises
Bird Proofing Solutions in Your Area
Properly engineered deterrents that stop birds landing, roosting and nesting — humane, discreet and built to last. Birds are creatures of habit; once they claim your roof, gutter or ledge, they rarely move on by themselves.
There is no one-size-fits-all fix, so we match the method to the building: stainless steel bird spikes, post-and-wire, bird netting, balcony netting, bird lasers, hawking and shock-track systems, all surveyed and fitted by trained technicians.
- 10-year guarantee on every installation
- Full range of solutions — spikes, netting, post-and-wire, lasers, hawking and more
- Humane and RSPB-compliant — birds deterred, not harmed
- Bespoke survey matching the right method to your building
- Discreet finish — most systems virtually invisible from the ground
Bird Netting in Your Area
The most permanent way to exclude birds from open areas — humane, virtually invisible and built to last a decade or more. Netting physically closes off the space and stops birds returning.
We use high-tensile, UV-stabilised polyethylene netting in the correct mesh size for the target species, tensioned across stainless steel wire and engineered fixings, then installed by trained technicians working at height.
- 10-year guarantee on every installation
- Correct mesh size for the species you are dealing with
- UV-stabilised, high-tensile material designed for British weather
- Humane and RSPB-compliant — birds excluded, not harmed
- Discreet finish — most systems virtually invisible from the ground
Bird Spikes in Your Area
The most cost-effective way to stop birds landing where they are not wanted — discreet, RSPB-endorsed and built to last. Ideal for ledges, gutters, chimneys, signage and balcony rails.
We use stainless steel or tough clear polycarbonate spikes on rigid bases with UV-stable adhesive, and specify the right gauge and density for pigeons, gulls, crows or starlings so the installation performs long term.
- Long-life materials — stainless steel and UV-stable polycarbonate
- Right spike for the species — pigeon, gull, crow and starling specifications
- RSPB-endorsed and humane — birds deterred, not harmed
- Discreet finish — virtually invisible from ground level
- Bespoke aesthetic options for listed and high-profile properties
Pigeon Guano Removal in Your Area
Specialist clearance, biocide treatment and licensed disposal of hazardous bird droppings — safely, thoroughly and in full compliance with the law.
Pigeon guano is not a cleaning job, it's a contamination job. The average urban pigeon produces around 25lb of droppings a year, and once a roost has been left for any length of time, the build-up becomes a genuine health hazard. The guano is corrosive — it attacks brickwork, render, metalwork and vehicles thanks to its uric acid content — and it carries pathogens that can cause serious illness in humans if breathed in, ingested or contacted through broken skin. In wet weather it creates a slip hazard, which is why councils and commercial landlords take it so seriously. It is classified as hazardous waste, and the disposal of any meaningful volume is regulated by law.
This is why guano clearance should never be tackled by a caretaker, employee or member of the public. Our technicians arrive in full PPE with bespoke breathing apparatus, work on hands and knees in confined and often elevated spaces, and use a professional-strength biocide that breaks down the fouling and disinfects at the same time. We also treat the area for bird mites — the biting insects that nest alongside the birds and head indoors once the chicks have fledged — and remove and dispose of all waste under the licences required for hazardous material. Once the site is clean, we'll advise on the proofing measures that will stop the problem coming back.
- Fully licensed for hazardous waste disposal — fully insured, full BPCA members
- RSPH Level II qualified technicians with bird control and proofing specialisms
- Domestic, commercial and public sector — homes, offices, councils, landlords
- Bespoke biocide treatment — breaks down guano and disinfects in one pass
Bird Mites Treatment in Your Area
Specialist eradication of the biting insects that move in once birds move out — fast, professional and properly resolved at source. Bird mites are tiny but can cause intense itching, poor sleep and persistent indoor infestation.
DIY treatment rarely works. We locate and remove nests, apply professional-strength insecticide, disinfect with biocide, and treat surrounding cavities with long-residual products. Heat treatment is also available for severe infestations.
- Treats the source, not just symptoms — nests removed and cavities treated
- Heat treatment available for severe or cavity-dwelling infestations
- Fully insured and BPCA members — RSPH Level II qualified technicians
- Discreet, same-week response in most cases
Hawking in Your Area
Traditional falconry-based bird control for sites where nothing else will work — proven, drug-free and delivered by a team with over 30 years of experience.
There are some bird problems that spikes, nets and lasers simply can't solve. Vast open sites like landfills, parks and agricultural centres. Tight enclosed spaces like multi-storey car parks and warehouses. Tower blocks, hospitals, hotels, stadiums and shop frontages where access is all but impossible. In these situations, the most effective answer is the oldest one in the trade: trained birds of prey. Pigeons and seagulls are hardwired to fear hawks and falcons, and once they associate a site with that predator presence, they leave — and they don't come back in a hurry.
Our team works with ten trained Harris hawks and peregrine falcons. Harris hawks fly at lower level close to the handler and work well in confined spaces; peregrine falcons work at height and cover much wider ground. The two are never flown together. For pigeon control, we use a proven 5-4-3-2-1 schedule — five visits in the first week, tapering to one by week five, then fortnightly — which delivers fast initial control before settling into long-term maintenance. For seagulls, which only breed once a year, we run three visits a week between March and September, varying the timing so the birds never become conditioned to when the hawks are flying. Every visit is paired with nest removal, and all dead birds and nesting material are cleared from site in line with legislation.
- Effective where proofing isn't possible — open sites, car parks, tower blocks, stadiums
- Proven 5-4-3-2-1 pigeon programme with measurable results
- Fully licensed — Environment Agency waste carriers licence, RSPH Level II qualified
- No visual footprint — no spikes, nets or wires on the building
